A personal message from Margaret O. Magee

Eleven years ago, I was given the privilege of becoming Executive Director of Daemion Counseling Center, Inc.

Throughout those years, it has been my honor to work with a talented and dedicated staff and board of directors and develop relationships with donors, foundations and volunteers that believe in and support Daemion’s mission. They all have inspired and motivated me.

Today, with grateful appreciation for the opportunity to have been a part of Daemion’s growth and service to so many in need, I am announcing my retirement.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, I am also pleased to announce that Kaitlen R. Langerhans will become Daemion’s new Executive Director effective March 8, 2023.

Kaitlen is well-positioned to take Daemion into the future, meeting the community’s mental health challenges and concerns with your help and support. I invite you to join me in welcoming her in her new role!

Daemion Counseling Center is a very special organization to me, and I look forward to remaining steadfast in my support of Daemion as a donor and volunteer as it continues to provide affordable mental health counseling to the community as it has so passionately done for more than 53 years.

Sincerely,

Margaret O. Magee
