What Daemion Counseling Means to Me: Mental health and wellbeing is something that is near and dear to my own heart and I've found that while we are making strides as a society, there is still a stigma, particularly in our area, around therapy.  We need to break the negative reputation associated with asking for help - seeking therapy is actually a strength that not everyone has and I am honored to be a part of an organization that provides that support for our community. As a local who was born and raised in this area, I aim to bring awareness to my network and leverage my resources to share the Daemion success stories.

What Daemion Counseling means to me: My parents have always instilled in me and my sisters the importance of helping others in our community, and at McAndrews Law Offices, our team is dedicated to serving the needs of individuals with disabilities and mental illness.

I have always valued the work of my family and colleagues who strive to help those without a voice. As an advocate for mental health, breaking the stigma surrounding mental illness is one of my passions.

Daemion brings hope and help to our community and I am honored to be on the board of such an amazing organization dedicated to helping others.

Free Time: In my free time I enjoy socializing, shopping, various exercise classes plus spending time with my husband and kids.

What Daemion Counseling Means to Me: I think at some point everyone can benefit from counseling, whether it is just managing the stresses of daily life or dealing with larger mental health issues, and everything in between. As discussions around mental health are becoming more prevalent and accepted in society, there is definitely a growing need for the services and, more uniquely, the accessibility that Daemion provides. Being a part of Daemion feels like a meaningful way to support my community.

What Daemion Counseling means to me: “I believe that a support system can make the biggest impact on helping someone get through tough times, or even just the everyday challenges that life brings. Whether or not someone has that support system in their own lives, I believe in the value of professional help and know that Daemion provides so many with help they might not otherwise have been able to access. This mission is so important and I am grateful to be able to support Daemion’s goals.”
