Mindfulness Walk & Talk
In response to all the positive feedback we have received about the Mindfulness Walking Series, in collaboration with the Phoenixville Community Health Foundation, and Valley Forge Park Alliance, we are back for another 6-week series beginning on May 1st. Topics such as deep breath control, body scans, finding stillness and more will be explored.
The group will meet every Wednesday through June 12th , 10-11am, rain or shine, at the Yellow Springs Trail Parking lot on Wilson Rd in Valley Forge Park, which is just past the covered bridge off of Rt 23. Only in extreme weather will our walks get cancelled.
The walks are brisk, on a 3-mile mowed path - participants should be comfortable with this pace on uneven surfaces. No need to pre-register, just show up! Plus, every participant is eligible for one free session with a licensed therapist. Feel free to bring a friend, our walks are open to everybody!
